um...i have CoD2..... and i LOVE it too...i just recently got back in.........................i guess if ill join you peoples if you expand Yes, you should rejoin us. Yohomie and you can start up our division in Call of Duty 2, an endeavor we have been pursuing for quite some time; the only reason we do not already have an established Call of Duty 2 division is because we do not currently have a server for this game. Once we have a server that is either up most or all of the time (regardless of it is dedicated or not), we will be ready to start a recruiting initiative in Call of Duty 2. Should this recruiting initiative be successful, we will be able to declare Call of Duty 2 an official division of First Strike Battalion.

That would definatly boost morale in the swbf2 division also, if we have another division and more people to talk to.

In fact, I would like to start a full-blown recruiting initiative in Call of Duty 2 that will mirror our upcoming recruiting initiative in Battlefront II; and like our upcoming recruiting initiative in Battlefront II, I would also like for this recruiting initiative in Call of Duty 2 to begin within the next few weeks or so. While I will be leading the recruiting initiative in Battlefront II, you and Yohomie will be able to lead the recruiting initiative in Call of Duty 2; Yohomie currently does not have Battlefront II, so he devotes most of his gaming-time to Call of Duty 2. I will also be involved with this division as well, but I need for the two of you to be the frontrunners of this recruiting initiative.
This recruiting initiative entails the necessity of having our own server, so in order for this division to be successful, one of you will have to be able to run some sort of server; it does not necessarily have to be a paid-for dedicated server, as a server that is ran off of your computer or Yohomie’s computer will suffice. However, depending on what router you have and how it is configured and such, you may run into connectivity issues wherein no one is able to connect to your server; this is a problem I have had in the past, and why I have not been able to host a dedicated server off of my own computer for Call of Duty 2. At the time I attempted to setup the dedicated server I really did not have the time to try and diagnose what the problem was and I may look more into that this summer, but to say the least, this game is not “router friendly” like Battlefront II is, which is a game where you can very easily set up a dedicated server on your own computer with no problems at all. You and Yohmie should test this out by having one of you set up a server and then see if the other one can connect to the server. For instance, Yohomie could set up the server on his computer and you could attempt to join it; if you are unable to join his server, then the two of you can switch roles and you will set up the server while Yohomie will attempt to join it, so that we can see which of you two are able to host a server off of your computers’. Of course, if you do not have a router but only run off of a modem, then you will probably be able to host a dedicated server off of your computer with no connectivity problems at all.
In any case, if you want to rejoin us, just let us know via this thread. Once you rejoin, you will immediately be given permission to recruit and to lead the recruiting initiative in Call of Duty 2 alongside Yohomie; just make sure to review our Rules and Code of Conduct in Announcements, in case you have forgotten them during your time of not being a member of this clan. We all look forward to your return and to the successful establishment of a Call of Duty 2 division.

Ok, well first you will have to delete the Renegade Test Division Area. That is very old.

fine, i would gladly spearhead this new chapter for CoD2 with yohomie.
won't be easy and it requires some planning but i have a feeling it would most likely work.
Anyway, so im assuming that my re-entry has been approved, eh?

Anyway, so im assuming that my re-entry has been approved, eh? Of course. You may begin with this recruiting initiative whenever you are ready; for now, Call of Duty 2 will remain a test division, until there are between at least 5 – 10 regularly active members in this division . I would also recommend getting in-touch with Yohomie on X-fire, so that the two of you can coordinate this recruiting initiative together. Welcome back to the Battalion, McFrugal.
