Here is a link to the Transformers trailer, incase any of you have not seen it yet: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZp75fWe-ssEverything looks good so far, although hopefully they will soon release a new trailer where they (such as Optimus Prime and Megatron) actually talk. In any case, hopefully this movie will be as good as the trailer makes it look, because this is really the only shot at reviving Transformers; all of Cartoon Network's attempts have certainly failed, as all of their different series' of "transformers" are failures that have done nothing but disgrace More Than Meets the Eye, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines, which where by far the best Transformers series' and the only ones that are worth watching.

Maniac, you are probably referring to the transformers series' on Cartoon Network (such as "Transformers Armada"), which are indeed far too "kiddy-ish", which is one of the reasons why they could never even come close to being half as good as More Than Meets the Eye, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines. The last of those series’ (Beast Machines) came to an end by the end of 2000, so if you have seen Transformers on T.V. anywhere during the last six years (since 2001), it has probably been a Transformers series on Cartoon Network. Those who have only seen Transformers on Cartoon Network missed out on the era of Transformers that was superb, which is the complete opposite of the quality of Transformers series’ you will see on T.V. today, because Cartoon Network and the writers’ of these new “Transformers”’ series are simply unable to produce any quality material.

Most certainly. You may want to try watching some of those episodes (on Youtube) from the other thread where I posted the titles of all of the episodes from More Than Meets the Eye, Beast Wars and Beast Machines. Note that More Than Meets the Eye is the first (and considered by many to be the best) series of Transformers, so you may want to start watching episodes from that series. Beast Wars and Beast Machines are almost like one bigger series together, because Beast Machines is a direct sequel to Beast Wars.

All versions of Transformers have been cartoons. However, while most of them have been animated the way cartoons "normally" are, Beast Wars and Beast Machines where 3D/CGI animated. This movie will be different from both Beast Wars/Beast Machines and the rest of the transformers series, as it is not a cartoon nor animated, but a live action movie (as you will see if you watched the trailer). As for what I mean about the differences between Beast Wars/Beast Machines from the rest of the Transformers series', watch a few minutes of both of the episodes I linked below to see what I mean: the first episode from More Than Meets the Eye: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OOcSywAWX8The first episode from Beast Wars: www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-3X4A-QFV8
