As I mentioned in the other thread:
I have some strong concerns with implementing class limits, but I may not be able to lay them out for a few days due to my schedule. Accordingly, I am going to let Nikki start this discussion. Nikki, as I mentioned to you in the other thread, please explain in detail why you think there should be class limits, which classes should have limits (and what those limits should be), and which classes should not have limits. The issue of it is possible or not to implement "dynamic percentage based class limits" (as mentioned above in the quote of my post) also needs to be addressed. All FSB members are strongly encouraged to partake in this discussion and voice their opinions.
I have locked this poll, as we need to have a thorough discussion about this before any vote takes place. Issues that need to be discussed include how exactly this should (and physically can) work. For instance, with sourcemod can you just set a "static" class limit (i.e., you can never have more than 3 spies on one team), or is it possible to have some sort of "dynamic percentage based class limit" (i.e., BASED ON the current number of players on the red team only three people can be spies, but if more people join the red team then four people could be spies, and so on and so forth)? Furthermore, issues such as which classes should have class limits (and why) and which classes should not must also be discussed. Once we have thoroughly discussed this issue, I will recreate this poll in the Team Fortress II Headquarters section of the forum, as this is an issue that must be decided by clan members alone.
